As a National Provider within the NGSN we welcome the long-awaited publication of the Gambling White Paper as it is an important step in the prevention of gambling harms. Gambling harms can affect anyone and are a serious public health issue. For anyone worried about how gambling makes them feel, the National Gambling Support Network provides free help and support for those who need it.
Betknowmore UK's mission continues as we increase our work providing support and training services that prevent and address personal and societal harms caused by gambling. We will ramp up efforts of amplifying awareness across various stakeholders through the voice of lived experience to supplement the future legislation laid out by government.
