This is a great time to join Betknowmore UK as we’re recruiting and accredited and experienced Clinical Supervisor to support staff and volunteers who provide our services.
You will be able to work autonomously to manage a growing supervision regime. Working remotely, you will support the delivery of our services to the highest standards by providing clinical supervision and support, as well as inputs to the training of staff and volunteers.
You will be a BACP / HCPC accredited counsellor/therapist and experienced clinical supervisor, with a track record of supporting clinicians and/or peer supporters to provide safe and effective support to people struggling with addiction and poor mental health.You will also have experience in providing CPD and able to develop bespoke training content tailored to staff and volunteers who provide peer support services. Most importantly, you will be able to demonstrate your understanding of the value ‘lived experience’ brings to the provision of support services.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities
Clinical Supervision
Deliver group and 1:1 clinical supervision across our support services.
Support the individual needs of supervisee's who are staff and volunteers with lived experience of gambling harms, identifying their development needs.
Provide guidance and support to any staff across the charity who may need support.
Implement and manage a supervisory regime.
Training Delivery
Support the training of staff and volunteers to provide peer support, tailoring training to people with lived experience.
Enhance the knowledge and skills of trainees to support their professional development and the improvement of services.
Health and safety responsibilities
Ensure that staff and volunteers providing peer support are operating in a way that is safe for themselves and for service users.
Ensure that health and safety, diversity and equality policies are upheld.
General
Follow Betknowmore UK policies and procedures at all times.
Attend regular supervision sessions with the CEO.
Operate with clear professional and confidentiality boundaries and provide a safe empathetic environment for the staff and volunteers you support.
Act in accordance with all current and future policies, procedures, guidelines and relevant codes of practice, which aim to ensure the highest possible standards of professionalism including maintaining sensitive and confidential information securely, in accordance with relevant data protection legislation.
